JRD Releases First Look at ARC2 Livery Ahead of 2025 PRI Show
Braselton, GA (December 2025) - JRD Motorsport has released the first official images of the new livery for the ARC2, a competition platform designed to compete in the American Rally Association (ARA) RC2 class. The unveiling marks a major milestone in the ARC2 program, showcasing both the vehicle’s visual identity and the engineering vision behind its ongoing development.
Presented in Swedish blue and yellow and anchored by JRD’s distinctive Viking emblem, the livery reflects the team’s engineering roots and reinforces the ARC2’s purpose: a rally platform built for privateers who demand capability, durability, and data-driven performance. In addition to its technical goals, JRD aims to provide a competitive stateside alternative to what has been a long-standing challenge in the U.S. rally ecosystem - the cost of importing vehicles and complicated logistics.
As part of its engineering philosophy, JRD integrates cutting-edge processes such as 3D-printed body panels and 3D-printed functional components, including elements of the exhaust manifold, intercooler, and radiator tanks. This approach enables faster iteration cycles and gives engineers greater design flexibility.
These images offer the global rally community its first look at the new livery, ahead of the in-person reveal of the JRD ARC2 at the 2025 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis on December 11 in the PFC Brakes booth. The program is strengthened by the testing and development insight of two-time World Rally Champion Marcus Grönholm, who serves as the ARC2’s test driver and will join JRD onsite throughout PRI.
“Rallying in the U.S. has needed a stateside solution for quite some time,” said Johan Ragnarsson, CEO and Director of Engineering of JRD Motorsport. “With the ARC2, our goal is to remove a major hurdle for teams and drivers - the cost and complexity of importing competitive machinery. This livery is the first visual step, but it represents something much bigger: rally cars built here, supported here, and competing here.”
“This program represents an important step forward for American rally, and we’re proud to bring our championship-proven braking technology to a platform that will help shape the sport’s future,” said Luis Maurel, Director of Global Motorsports at PFC Brakes. “We are excited to support JRD Motorsport as they introduce this innovative Rally2 platform to the U.S.” “Our goal is to give challengers a championship-proven brake package — one that delivers the car control and pedal feel only a PFC system can provide,” added Gabriel Liggeri, Motorsport USA Sales Manager. “For the ARC2, we’re utilizing our ZR94 caliper, specially formulated pad compounds, and proprietary, class-leading rotor metallurgy to create a package that matches the quality of the program JRD has built. At PFC Brakes, we crave those surprise hairpins, and we design brake systems that give drivers the confidence to attack them.”
The first physical appearance of the JRC ARC2 and its new livery will take place at PRI in Indianapolis, December 11-13, 2025. Media, partners, and attendees will have the opportunity to:

About JRD: JRD Motorsport was founded in the early 1990s, initially focusing on custom car builds and celebrity conversions. The company played a key role in developing the Panoz Esperante road car and served as the in-house prototype and tuning division for Panoz vehicles. After becoming independent in 2018, JRD expanded its operations while maintaining its deep ties to performance automotive engineering. Notably, JRD are behind some of the most iconic American-built rally cars in recent years, including Seamus Burke’s Mk2 Ford Escort, which dominated the 2WD Open Championship multiple times. With the ARC2, JRD aims to continue this tradition by making high-level rallying more accessible to American teams.
