JOHAN RAGNARSSON
CEO & Chief Engineer
Originally from Sweden, Johan Ragnarsson is the founder of JRD Motorsport. Johan brings extensive experience in automotive engineering and racing. He was instrumental in developing the Panoz Esperante and its Le Mans-winning racing version. Johan leads JRD in producing advanced and reliable rally cars, earning numerous victories and championships.

MARKUS HALLBERG
Operations Manager
Markus Hallberg brings years of experience from management positions within the automotive and marine business. Markus oversees all aspects of JRD’s daily operations, including managing staff, purchasing, invoicing, budgeting, and inventory management.

bernie van hamond

Bernie Van Hamond is a lifelong professional racing team crew member with expertise as a mechanic and crew chief in IMSA, World Challenge, and Le Mans. A highly regarded fabricator and machinist, he has an exceptional ability to identify load paths in structures and spot mechanical issues before they become failures.

NICLAS JANCIC

Niclas Jancicis an automotive engineer with 35 years of hands-on vehicle development experience. Known and respected for his resourcefulness and brilliance, Niclas is not intimidated by any area of an automobile. He is highly skilled in metal fabrication and machining, structural and dynamic engineering, electrics and electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, including all types of combustion engines and drivetrains

Skitter Yaeger
​
Skitter Yaeger is a highly respected motorsport engineer with expertise in mechanical design, lap simulation, data analysis, and energy efficiency. At Panoz, he developed the engine block for the Elan DeltaWing and led the technical development of the Green4U GT-EV program. Skitter has experience in Le Mans Hypercar and TransAm, and is also deeply involved in FSAE as a Design Judge and Chassis Inspection Captain.

Chris Hutton

Chris studied mechanical engineering in the UK before moving to America. He spent 15 years as a flight crew/tech on large experimental aircraft performing research work in the Arctic. He later moved tostart a sports/race car company producing 30+ cars of original design. With 30+ years of motorsports experience in roles such as manager, engineer, and crew chief in Speedvision GT, Ferrari Challenge, IMSA Endurance, ALMS, Grand Am, etc. Highlights include Daytona and Le Mans 24 hrs with BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, and Bugatti.
